Woooo Hooooo Redux

From the election that just keeps giving and giving... The results are finally in, and our CT district will be sending a Democrat to Congress for the first time in almost a decade.

Joe Courtney beat Rob Simmons in a recount that ran from a starting high of 166 + for Courtney, to a low of 66 + then resting at 87+ for a day before finalizing at either 93+(dem's count) or 96+ (repub count). WEV, thank goodness we now have someone we can count on to oppose the president's reckless and insane adgenda.

I read that there was one more congressional race decided, how cool that it's your district getting a Democratic representative. It is a gift that keeps on giving.

I agree with Robin Andrea. It is the gift that keeps on giving. I only wish more Dems had won nation wide. What do you think about what Carville is saying regarding Dean? Do you think he screwed up the election? I feel the reason more Dems didn’t win was due to Republican dirty tricks suppressing the vote. You know – we are going to have to be extra vigilant in ’08. The Republican Party will make sure to go even farther that they did this time in order to win. It’s going to get ugly..

I think Carville, who hasn't run a successful campaign since the '80's, has his head up his ass. Dean engineered, with the help of the netroots, the biggest win in the last - what? - 50 years? Carville to my mind is a DC pundit, and living in his own lala land.
