How sad. He was probably actually telling the truth, too.

It's always good to remember and put a human face on this terrible war.

SB, I think that's one of the most frightening aspects of his presidency - that he seems to be so permanently deluded, dug into his own hallucinations. Cheney knows he's the devil and really gets off on it - but I think Bush truly believes he's doing the right thing, and that's what got him "elected."

To some extent, that approach doesn't seem to be working as well these days.

Peace to you and yours SB Gypsy.
Thanks for the link.An earlier attempt to put the Human face on it was my Oct. 28th post(warning graphic).

Note most if not all my comments were lost when I switched to haloscan.

Peace

Too many people for far too long have cosseted and yessed George Bush into believing he is infallible. He can't even conceive of being wrong. That's what makes him dangerous. Not even Nixon was that far out in left field. It's all Cheney and Rove's fault, you know. They picked Bush because they saw the potential there; that he could be deceived into thinking he was on some half-assed mission form god. They unleashed this horror on America. They are the ones who should pay the highest price.

Hey RD, It's been missing since they banned the pictures of our returning casualties.

Hey Andi, bubble boy will be lucky if he gets away without being impeached.

Welcome, Human. great post, and I think more people should see it.

Hey FLS,
It's all Cheney and Rove's fault, you know. They picked Bush because they saw the potential there; that he could be deceived into thinking he was on some half-assed mission form god.

I watched a special on him, it was sometime around when he was first appointed to the presidency. He talked about how they all had a meeting, with his father there and the senior members of the republican party, and they were looking for a way to tap into the religious right vote. Dumbya raised his hand and said - I can get those votes! I'm born again, and I know how to talk to them (in code). Thus was born the candidate for Gov of Texas. ... and we all know where that went (downhill all the way).

Texas is starting to recover, after reversing just about everything he did while there. I wonder how long it will take the country to recover?
