I read Lab Cat's post. Fine example of petty dictators, I'd say. It's inevitable. Give a small man big power and he'll turn rabid in no time. It's happened at the top level of government - so why shouldn't it be mirrored downstream? You asked before about ‘fight or flight’. Well - while I'm here I intend to fight; but hubby and I are planning our retirement outside the US. Flight will then be our ‘get the hell outa Dodge’ option.

I've been so upset lately, what with watching someone I care about turning into a little perfect nazi citizen. Depressing.
