WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Former White House spokesman Scott McClellan, defending his book critical of President George W. Bush and the Iraq war, said on Thursday he may have made a mistake by not speaking out sooner.

Beautiful flowers you have there. And, yes, Scotty is a total schmuck for not speaking out sooner. The lives lost should haunt him always.
I wish I could believe that those lives lost WOULD haunt him, even for a few months.

I don't mind Scotty making a buck or two with his book, at this point. I wish he would have spoken up then..but he didn't. Even if he just went along with it during his employment, that was what he was paid to do. I don't know what type of contract he had then, but he did leave before his boss leaves office. He might have had a difference of opinion at the time, but was committed to not saying anything. Especially since he was writing the book. There are a bunch of others that have kept a closed mouth, even after they left. I wonder if they're planning on jumping the bandwagon.
