Tom Turkey gettin' frisky for Spring

I saw this as I came around a corner, and had to stop and take a few pics! I'm assuming these are the same flock pictured here, since it's just across the street from where the previous pic was taken. I love how the cats are just sitting there on the steps watching that big tom dance and shake, taking in the show.

Those are very smart cats --- I sure as hell wouldn't take on a tom turkey in full rut --- okay, so they're mostly feathers, but there's a helluva lot of meanness in those birds, too.

Swans, though, swans are the WORST.

I wonder if the hens were impressed? Did they swoon?

Hey Annti,

They started moving off right away, they didn't like my clicking camera. However, two of the hens stayed very close to his studly self.

I've had a run-in with a goose myself, and I can tell ya, big birds are no pushovers!!
