Twenty Four. It's the name of the TV show that tried to excuse the Gitmo Heresy of torture.
Twenty Four. It's the percentage of Connecticut voters who support our president and his policies. Some say Connecticut is just a blue-er state surrounded by the bluest of blue states, out of touch and passed over. Others say Connecticut is a bellweather, and where CT goes, so goes the nation. With two Republican moderate congressmen up for election and likely to lose their jobs, and one democratic senator vowing to run independent if he doesn't win the primary, it looks like a shakeup is in the air. Wether it's a prediction for the whole country or just a storm in a bottle, time will tell.

I dunno - I hope the voters will throw the bums out; but I fear it will end up more of the same. Where I live, there is not a tinker's chance in hell a Democrat or Independent would ever be elected. People prefer the conservative, wink wink, nod nod, 'racist' candidates they've always voted for. I always vote, and I email those fuckers weekly - but it never does one whit of good.
From the land of Katherine Harris, god only knows what happens next.
I love watching what's going on in your state with the Lieberman campaign. I am so glad that the fine people of Connecticut are willing to tell that schmuck to take a hike. Sorry, Joe, being a Democrat means more than just having a (D) after your name.
Hey, FLS,
Some states are just red, and that's all, nothing you can do. I try not to live in one. Easier said than done.
Hey, POP,
I love to watch Katherine Harris run for the Repubs. The best part is, she spending her own inheritance to do it! So sad, she's not doing to well, I hear. ;)
Hey, RD. Gosh, I just hope against hope we have Sen Ned Lamont in Jan, but Lieberman will not go down without a brawl. Bastard's already vowed to run independent if he looses the primary. This would split the dem vote and return a repub to DC. What a kick in the nuts to the Democratic party, and the people of CT that would be!
