Pics of the Day

The late afternoon sun reflects off the remnants of snow left over after all this crazy weather.

It's 29 today, yesterday it was 50 degrees - with motorcycles whizzing past.

The pounding rain the other day didn't melt the snow, it just saturated it. Then it froze solid overnight, only to surface melt in the warmth yesterday. It's a frozen world out there today, with a stiff, cold breeze out of the north.

It always surprises me to see pictures of snow there, on a day when it's been in the high 60s, sunny warm and beautiful here. It just doesn't seem right. Well, we're supposed to turn back to winter in a few days--cold and rainy. This taste of spring has been very sweet, I hope it heads your way soon. Beautiful pics.
