I AM SPARTACUS!

In between this whole sorry-ass bullshit and hearing about Edwards' huge freaking mansion, I'm kinda having a hard time jumping on board the Edwards campaign train.

I was ok with Edwards' response last week, but to remain silent about his employees getting death threats... well, that doesn't seem like he's giving them a fair shake to me. Kinda seems like he left them out to dry.

I know Shakes loves him (or I think she did last time I checked) but I just can't seem to get the bad taste out of my mouth.

I was on the fence about Edwards. I don't think I would have supported him anyway, but this absolutely cemented it for me. For so many reasons he just really failed. I'm an Al Gore fan. I would like him to win the Nobel Peace Prize and then announce his candidacy. My dream.

Hey Andi,

I don't mind him having a mansion - hell, he earned it defending people who've been hurt by big business.

I wasn't impressed with his response. If he'd done his homework, he should have been ready to defend his choice vigorously. Instead he managed to offend the very people he was trying to attract, by trying to pacify people who won't ever vote for him anyway.

He violated the first rule of big time blogging: he fed the trolls. Oh well.

Hey, Robin Andrea,

I was firmly in his camp, but this has hurt my faith in him. He fell for the first wingnut that came along. *sheesh*

Absent Al Gore's candidacy, and a couple others' that I could name(if I could remember names fer crumb's sake), I don't see anyone else to vote for. Not really Obama, and certainly not Hillary.
