Which is where Iraq comes in. Bush invaded Iraq in large part to take revenge for 9/11.

An interesting hypothisis but only half of the story, right? The ability to enrich his allies and funders seems to be the other half.

Oh, the hypocrisy of hatred. As Kvatch says, this is only part of the story. The fact that Halliburton and its subsidiaries were on the scene so quickly speaks volumes.

It is a good read, indeed.

Hey MM, I thought it was soooo evocative!

Welcome to my caravan, Kvatch. Personally, I don't think Iraq ever had anything to do with 9/11. If he wanted revenge, perhaps he could have gotten it closer to home. I think it was ALL to enrich him, his allies and funders.

Hey Divajood, got that right - Codpiece is nothing if not a hypocrite. It was strange watching him last night. He was in a "this is my decision, and I'm too tired of deciderating to change it, so I'm stickin' with it" mode. Obstinate.
