I love Cosmos - there is some blooming in my perennial bed. The same whites and purples, with a fey gold and red thrown in! We get late seasons here. Outside it is still in the 80's. I much prefer it cool.
We've been around 74-78 degrees since Katrina. Nights it's gotten as low as 38 - but usually in the mid 50's. Good Sleeping weather, they call it. I keep my fan on all night. I love the cool fall weather. These cosmos were volunteers, and didn't even start to bud until Katrina broke the drought.Now, they're going bonkers - which is good, because every thing else is gone by.
