Border Violence

It seems to me that when some crazy with a shoe bomb tried to blow a hole in an airplane, suddenly we have thousands of people a day who are required to take off their shoes so they can be inspected in every airport in the nation. We discover idiots with a death wish and fevered dreams about mixing a bomb in the airplane toilet and suddenly we have thousands of people having their bags searched and being forced to throw out their shampoo and shaving cream for the dubious privilege of getting on a commercial airplane.

On the other hand, when we have drug cartels on our border, killing police and creating mayhem, coming into our cities and invading our homes, threatening our children and polluting our national parks.... We cannot violate the second amendment! Oh noes, we needs our semi-automatic rifles so we can shoot up cans and lay waste to targets everywhere! Don't. Mess. With. The NRA.
