I had some pictures of this last year, then my old computer went blooey, and thte pics were gone! So, I just had to get some more.
While I was lining up shots, a great blue heron silently glided past. WOW! A man who was taking his dogs for a walk near the river said the bird patrols the river every day - up and down in the clear area just over the water.
