Freezing overnight, with temps in the mid to high 40's until new years... That water's not frozen, folks!

Sitting down here in Fla in 80 degree sunny weather and looking at that photo, the water may not be frozen but ist sure looks damned cold.
Yep POP, it's damned cold. My hubby once tried to get me to go out in the canoe in November, and was surprised when I refused. I grew up on a lake, with our own dock and beach and boats, and I know how fast you can loose it when the water's fridgid.
It always amazes me to see the polar bear club members out there jumping thru a hole in the ice in their bathing suits!
